Calendar meetings

Connect your calendar and Boswell shows your upcoming meetings, so you can start capturing the moment one begins. Boswell reads your schedule — it does not join the call or send a bot, and capture still happens on your Mac. See The no-bot model.

Connect Google or Microsoft from Boswell — during onboarding, or later in the app. Connecting signs you in with that account and lets Boswell read your upcoming events.

Once connected, your schedule appears in Boswell’s Coming up list. When a meeting is starting, a Start now control begins capturing it as a note — the same on-device transcription as any other recording.

Boswell can notice when a meeting on your calendar is underway and offer to start capturing — a notification you say yes to. Boswell never starts recording on its own. Detection only prompts you; the decision to record is always an explicit tap. See Recording consent for why that matters.

Boswell reads your calendar events to show your upcoming meetings and to recognize when one starts. Your recordings, transcripts, and notes stay on your Mac. See What stays on-device.
