Restore on a new Mac
Your Boswell Pro subscription is tied to your account (your email address), not to a specific Mac. To use Boswell on a new or additional Mac, install the app and sign in — Pro activates automatically.
Activate on a new Mac
Section titled “Activate on a new Mac”- Install Boswell on the new Mac. Download the latest build from meetboswell.com.
- Open Boswell and sign in when prompted. Enter the email address on your subscription; Boswell emails you a magic link. Click the link on the same device.
- Pro unlocks. There’s no activation code to enter. Once you’re signed in with an account that has an active subscription, Pro features are available immediately.
Your Macs
Section titled “Your Macs”Signing in at meetboswell.com/account shows a list titled “Your Macs” (stamped “Unlimited devices”) — the name, date added, and last-seen time for each Mac on your account. This list is informational only. There is no seat meter, no capacity limit, and no action needed to add or remove a Mac.
Recover your account access
Section titled “Recover your account access”If you’ve lost access to your account email — different address, expired inbox, or you just can’t remember — use the recovery flow at meetboswell.com/recover:
- Go to meetboswell.com/recover.
- Enter the email address you used when you signed up for Boswell.
- If that address is on file, Boswell sends a magic link to your inbox within a minute. Click it to sign back in.
For privacy reasons the recovery page doesn’t confirm whether a specific email is registered. If nothing arrives within 15 minutes, that address isn’t on file.
If recovery doesn’t work
Section titled “If recovery doesn’t work”If the recovery flow doesn’t help — for example, if you’ve lost access to the domain entirely or used a different address — email support@meetboswell.com with as much detail as you can: your name, the email you think you used, and any receipt you received. Support answers within a day, usually the same morning.
Manage your Macs
Section titled “Manage your Macs”Sign in at meetboswell.com/account to see all the Macs registered to your account under “Your Macs”. The list is informational — it shows each Mac’s name, when it was added, and when it last checked in. There is no limit on the number of Macs you can have active at once.
